- Frame made of double-walled, powder-coated aluminium sections welded along mitre joints

Consol Solar Vacuum Tubes
Consol evacuated tube collectors use design features of a thermos flask with a vacuum between two glass tubes. This results in a higher energy yield than some flat-plate collectors. They have an additional feature which shows even the smallest leak. Individual tubes can be changed without the need to drain the entire system. They are also immune to wind chill factors.
